The north lawns of Jamaica House was the venue of the inaugural Golden Cleats Awards, which was staged on January 8 by the Jamaica Amateur Athletic Association (JAAA) and the Scotiabank Group to honour the nation’s top male and female athlete and coach for 2009.

Starring Munair Zacca as Leon, Clive Duncan as Bill and Nadia Khan as Justine, ‘Love List’ is one that requires some amount of intellect to unravel and though ideal for a mature audience, this Norm Foster penned script is miles away from buffoonery, as it actually invites theatre goers to contemplate what they would do if faced with such a scenario.

Connoisseurs of great music can now add one more staple to the shrinking diet of places where men and women can really listen and dance to music together.

Digicel hosted their partners in the media to a night out of Christmas cheer, fun, food and camaraderie at the Devonshire on December 16.  Guests were entertained by the sounds of Harold Davis & Friends, toasted at the Martini Bar and feasted on Jacqui Tyson’s From Thought to Finish.
